Sorta reminds me of those that wrote off TFA saying it was going to suck based on early trailers only to say they loved it after they saw it. I say lets just wait and see before passing judgement right?[emoji3]
Once again, I'm basing my thoughts off of having not seen the movie so I could and I hope to be totally wrong but to me, it seems like Doomsday and Wonder Woman should have been kept secret. I've seen the trailer alot of times and Wonder Woman always gets a good reaction so she's helping sell the movie (which is the point of a trailer) but I'd have vastly preferred to be surprised by her appearance because my reaction would have been "Holy crap, Wonder Woman is in this movie?!!! That's awesome!" As it stands now, I'll see the scene where she appears and think "Eh, I already saw it."I don't think the ending of the film is any more spoiled than what we got with Star Wars. Those trailers showed Finn with the lightsaber fighting Kylo Ren, for example. That wasn't everything in that part of the film, and I doubt Doomsday is everything about the end of the film.
I deliberately stay out of the loop but I don't think I knew that WW was in this movie until I saw the trailer. Even if everyone was aware of her appearance, there's a difference between knowing that the character will be in the movie and showing what I assume is her big introduction (at least to Batman and Superman) in the trailer. Using The Force Awakens trailer as an example again, everyone was asking where Luke was and it created mystery & curiosity that eventually paid off when people saw the movie. The BVS trailer just put that money shot in the trailer.Except we knew Gadot was cast as Wonder Woman a couple years ago, so I don't get how they would have kept her a secret.
I think this is the final trailer before showtime in late March....
And there were those that liked the trailers but ended up not liking TFA. I plan to judge BvS based on the movie itself, hopefully I'll like it.Sorta reminds me of those that wrote off TFA saying it was going to suck based on early trailers only to say they loved it after they saw it. Yeah the way he slams guys through walls and floors makes Bats look like he has super powers too. At least Snyder is consistent - he overpowered many of the characters in Watchmen as well.I feel like the skull crushing take downs are a bit over the top, but I guess that's consistent with Snyder's Watchman, if not a video game aesthetic.
