Not as far as I know. Netflix works in mysterious ways. I did read that ASP is pushing for a gradual roll out -- one per day, or one per week -- instead of the usual dump-and-binge Netflix model.

Bless her. Then something crazy might happen like people could anticipate, enjoy, digest and think about each episode rather than watch them all in a row like it's some kind of race that they quickly forget about once finished.

Pretty happy to hear that Milo Ventimiglia is returning. I completely agree with Adam that Jess was always the best match (at least in terms of shared interests) with Rory. While I'm sure that the Rory/Logan/Jess aspect of the show will be dealt with in the return, I'm actually more curious where things stand between Jess and Luke.

You and me both. I love that relationship -- two men who clearly love and respect each other on a deep level -- who never seem to be able to get past the stuff that they can't stand about each other. And Jess being pulled toward being a better person by Luke's example in spite of himself.

I really hope they had at least one kid together, too. I think the product of both Lorelei and Luke would be one for the ages.

Milo Ventimiglia posted a photo of his script for one of the episodes:

The interesting thing for me is that Daniel Palladino wrote and directed the episode in question. I had assumed they were taking the "Twin Peaks" approach where ASP and her husband would go co-write all of the episodes and then maybe trade off directing. But it looks like at least one episode is all Daniel, which means probably at least one episode is all ASP.

I just clicked my way through a gallery at the bottom of the page with the info on Padelecki's return (Cameron's link) and Taylor Doose is in! I always enjoyed that character.

And, they seem to have created a new character for Sutton Foster to play.

Probably more polarizing than the other casting news, but:
Vanessa Marano Reprising Role as Luke’s Daughter in Netflix’s ‘Gilmore Girls’

I know the character is hated by a large segment of the fanbase, and the storyline that introduced her (and ultimately broke up Lorelei and Luke) was ill-advised. But I'm happy for this casting news. Marano's been doing great work as one of the leads on "Switched at Birth" the last few years, but more importantly, I don't want to see Luke as an uninvolved dad -- even if the daughter in question is now fully grown. I don't want April to be a significant presence on the revival, but I do like that we'll be shown that Luke's daughter is still a part of his life.

It's not like she was my favorite character but I never got the hatred of that kid. And you hit exactly on why and how much she should appear.

How about Paris' cohorts: Louise and Madeline?

And even more significantly (than April): Luke's sister and her husband: Liz & TJ?

And Paris was pretty close with Doyle.

And Sebastian Bach as Gil would be AWESOME!
