Under the previous system, it was easy to select and delete several old conversations at once. However, I can't seem to find a way to delete old conversations under this new system. Is this a glitch? I've selected one and several, but delete never appears as an option. Please advise .,. Memphis

You're right, it appears. Seems absurd they couldn't just say delete, but ... thanks for the heads up, pardner. :thumbs-up-smiley:

Doubt you can truly delete a conversation. it may look like it's gone, but like anything internet related, be careful what you say. It will be out there in cyberspace forever.

Did network admin/tech support for about 25 years. Always told people not to put certain things in email, or post on the web, leave a voicemail, etc. It could easily come back years later to haunt you.

Traced back old email for a lawsuit situation. HR asked me to look into some other files which ended up with several people being fired for selling drugs.

Talk to people in person. Phone, voicemail, internet, are all traceable. I was hardly like an NSA spy, but I could access just about anything since I ran the systems.

If you click on a member's profile pic, among the info that pops up is, "Member X was last seen viewing (such and such thread)...(x hours/mins ago)." So you can even leave breadcrumbs here.

Not worried about criminal enterprises or profane insults, guys. I always clear out PMs on sites because there's a space limit. Under the old platform here, it was easy to delete old "conversations" and keep your usage % down. Now someone, probably an overpaid someone, has decided that calling it "leaving" is better than "deleting". Personally, if you can't have both, give me accuracy over "artfulness" in perfunctory functions.
