Ron Underwood's Speechless has been released by Olive Films, in perfect sync with the latest election news. It's a film about two people falling for one another, and only afterward finding out that, well...
While it's never been a great film, it is a fun way to spend 99 minutes, and the new Blu-ray is a very good looking disc. Everything is working here from a tech perspective.
Don Peterman's work here is crisp and clean. You've seen his cinematography before in Flashdance, Cocoon, Men in Black and Mighty Joe Young.
One thing disturbs me about Olive releases, and I'd love to see it changed. I like their cute little Olive logo, but there's no need to present it twice - once during initial setup, and again before the feature.
Once again, a nice clean master delivered by MGM.
