I have a old set of KEF reference speakers from a theatre in a previous life and now want to pull them out of the attic and include in my new theatre.
This is what the sales brochure was at the time ---

The sub that was with the set has long gone ,so will a REL sub match ok with the system? as this one ---

If i want to include built in ceiling speakers for Atmos, what would do you recomend i use?

If i were to get a modern day receiver / amp as a Pioneer SC-LX58 ,would this run it all as good as i think it might.

Thanks for any advice ,
jo

Assuming the speakers are in good shape you should't have any problems using those speakers and sub together. You want to keep in mind that you normally want the front three the same series to keep a seamless soundstage up front. This doesn't mean you have to it's just a suggestion.

As far as the AVR I don't see why any modern AVR wouldn't work for what you're trying to do.
