I believe Digital HD is only 25%, and DVD has 67% of the remainder.
From the latest sales data on Home Media Magazine here, for the past year:
Even with a substantial rise in BD sales (mostly new release titles), DVD still retains 76% of disc sales.
And from this article (since I don't have access to the original DEG data): "digital sales also surpassed physical-media purchases last year, clocking in at $8.9 billion compared with $8 billion." That is, greater than 50% of total home video sales are now digital. I have no idea how many of those digital sales are HD or UHD, but if it's only a small proportion then that just reinforces my point that consumers don't value quality.
Look, I'm not actively trying to stomp on anyone's dreams here. I hate having to be the grinch who keeps regurgitating the negative facts about the state of the market. But at the same time surely it's not appropriate for discussions on this forum to start heading deeply into the realm of fantasy. Do we really want every UHD thread turned into a wishful exercise in UHD BD cheerleading? Is there any genuine doubt that UHD BD is a format targeted solely towards new release titles? Doesn't it seem inevitable that the UHD BD disc format will largely be a stopgap measure until more people have fast enough Internet access for 4K streaming?
