One of the features of the new forum is not having the need to use Tapatalk.
This forum looks pretty good on my iPhone, without any of the issues that I had with Tapatalk.

It is worth noting for any fans of musical theatre that Josh Groban's STAGES LIVE concert special is releasing tomorrow.

I really don't like how they've packaged it, though.

Even though all but one of the songs were released on CD last year as a studio album, the Blu-ray is not coming out individually; you've got to buy the new live CD (of the exact same songs) in order to get the blu-ray (or DVD, whichever) packaged in there.

Furthermore, there is a Target exclusive edition with 3 extra songs on the CD...but THAT one appears to only come with a DVD. So, if you want the Blu-ray PLUS Target's extra songs, it appears you would have to buy it twice (once as the blu-ray standard edition, and once as the Target version of the CD+DVD.)

Personally, I would probably enjoy having the Blu-ray, but I don't feel the need to buy another CD, when I already spent $16.99 on the studio album's Target exclusive CD last year (which had different exclusives, naturally.) But if I were going to be forced to buy the CD again to get the blu-ray, I would of course want to have the version with the most music for my dollars.

So...honestly....the mishandling of this release seems morel likely to put me off it entirely than anything else. I will go to see it in the theater tonight because that will be fun, but after that I'm much more likely to just stick with the studio album...whereas I would not be opposed to getting the blu-ray if it were released individually or at the very least available with all the music.

Was tempted to get Bridge of Spies, but $22.99 is a bit steep for a blind buy. Will probably pull the trigger when it drops to $19.99 or lower.

For those looking for a little boost for Snow White or another Disney title -- Disney Movie Rewards now has a Generic Disney $5 MQ for Bluray or Bluray combo (not a specific title) available for 250points. The coupon printer software is a bit of a pain to use/install (don't try it at work) and you must have a printer attached and able to print it.

There may be a possibility it could even work for Bridge of Spies since it's sort of Disney/TouchStone/Dreamworks/Fox. Nobody has tried it yet at a store that just scans coupons like Walmart or Target to know if it would work though

I discovered the hard way very recently that DMR points expire after something like 210 days of no activity. 10+ years of points, POOF! :(

(No response from customer service, either.)

That's really bad -- I had peaked about 35K points a few months ago since they got rid of most of teh High Point tours and things related to Disney Cruises/Free Passes to the park. I finally just splurged on some Birthday/Christmas gifts, a couple Star Wars Collectibles posters, and a few other little things, but I'm still at 15K. I would have been physically ill to lose anywhere close to those numbers.

I know some people got scared about their points with all the new rules and then DMR put out the messed up email threatening to take away points immediately even for folks who had been very active. By no response you mean they haven't contacted you or that they haven't re-instated some/all of the points.
If you could get a live CSR on the phone or ?? chat then I know they have reinstated points for some in the past, but it really appears they're trying to purge inactive accounts or at least force you to do something with your account more frequently. What I'm a bit unsure about is what they consider activity (buy, redeem points, or just log in to the account.

I never got an email or anything regarding a change in the rules -- I just happened to log in for the first time in a while and discovered a zero point balance.

I emailed them about it but got no response. If I work up the gumption, I'll try calling.

Do you know how long it had been since you added/redeemed points or about since you logged in? The fact that you didn't get a heads up or warning mail may
be in your favor, but it seems to be much more hit or miss since they changed the terms the first time starting a few months ago and I think at least one more time
recently.
