Weird. I see 2001: a space odyssey for this post but, when I click on the image I see Krakatoa East of Java
I think this is our content delivery network caching files. We're going to have to play around a bit - but we'll get this fixed.

Is there a way to put all the tags is a line of there own at the top of the page/header/?? so that they're all in one place and you could click it immediately rather than have to search for a post with the tag you need.

Can the Large Colorful ID tags be placed in the second line by Poster or maybe after the thread title instead of in front? Or possibly over on the far right side where it lines up with the sticky pins in a column of their very own. That would allow the 1st letter of the titles to line up and make it easier to scan with your eyes.

Not sure why, but when I'm on my Android Tab (using web browser, not app), the site seems to freeze up periodically. I haven't used the Tab much since the new launch, but the couple times I was on it, I noticed the freezes.

Edit: Search question may have already been there under More options. Was there always an option to order by Date and I just never saw it or was it added?

I wasn't seeing this information in 'portrait' mode on my IPhone.

I also didn't see it on the person's Profile screen.

It is visible on the thread in 'landscape' mode.

Thanks

I played with it on a small screen device. When the postbit goes horizontal it needs to strip out most of the post bit info including name to fit everything in. I don't think we can do much about while keeping it mobile friendly. Its just on small screen sizes, its there on all the others.

I have an nVidia Shield at home I can test on. Will let you know if I can reproduce. It's most likely the particular android build on that device.

Using browser developer tools (almost every browser has them now if you want to play), it looks like the profile post data goes away around 610 pixels wide, so that is a very small screen indeed. I don't know what model iPhone David has, but anything from the iPhone 4 and up should be showing that info.

I imagine this is more of a specific computer/browser issue than a site issue in general, but I'm unable to use the "quote" function on Firefox. It's working fine for me in Chrome.

I'm using Firefox 38.0.5 on Windows 7 and the Reply/Quote function is working fine...

I'm not sure if it's the same issue, but the multiquote button is a bit strange in Firefox 44 I think.

You click "+quote" once/twice/three posts, but when you get to the bottom section to the reply screen to type your response and nothing shows up UNTIL you click :Insert Quotes..." and yet another click to "Add These Quotes"

The Reply button works the way it always did and automatically quotes that post and populates the reply screen

FF44 here... no issues. Someone mentioned having to hit "Insert Quotes" in the editor with FF. It took me a bit to find that at first but after it was found, it's not bad. Much easier then having to select "multi quote" rather than "quote" or getting it wrong and having to do it all over.

So I put that quote in manually... but I'm using Firefox 43.0.4 on Windows 7. When I click the "quote" button on a post, the "+" next to the word quote turns into a "-" but the quote doesn't paste into the reply box, and there is no option to insert the quotes (unlike in Chrome, where I see an "Insert Quote" button at the bottom of the reply box).

But this is me on a work computer that I have no administrative control over, so it's entirely possible that it's just a combination of settings on my end that can't be adjusted. Not the end of the world by any stretch - just slightly odd. So definitely don't waste your afternoon trying to debug it or anything!

I'm going to guess the confusion here is that when a member is typing in the edit box, they see their avatar on the left-hand side (like a normal post bit) but all the identifying info (including their name) doesn't display.

I don't think this needs to be changed. I could just see where it might be confusing.

Thanks, Mike. I see that my name is being displayed under my avatar.

If you select reply it should automatically bring the quoted single post to the bottom.

If you do click '+quote' it seems to store it in memory and I get a drop down from the top of the screen saying I've selected Multiquote, if you click "- quote" it takes it out of memory.
With my FF (Win 10), after I do the "+ quote" I can see the "insert quotes..." box at the bottom left of the typing box next to "Insert Bookmarks" though it still takes a couple more clicks to get that to populate the reply box instead of automatically doing it like before. I tried just typing my response without the insert quote and hitting post hoping it might auto-populate the selected quotes, but that didn't work.

You're saying you can see the Insert Quote button on Chrome, but not FF? It will be interesting to see if your home computer does the same. I guess it could be FF43, but that makes less sense than a Security Setting on your work computer

David - we have implemented this. We're still tweaking appearance, but it should do what you need.

That's great, Dave! Your response time in approving and implementing requested features has been amazing. You guys must be working around the clock to ensure as painless a rollout as possible. Very impressive and greatly appreciated.

...Here's another request: could you please also include a tag for "A few words about..." in that new forum tag list at top, as it's currently not there?

Thank you

Since the HTF app was discontinued I've moved to using safari on my iPhone. I have to re-login each time even after checking the stay logged in box. Is there an alternative to Safari that would work better?

I do like the new look by the way. I just miss the convenience of the app.
