The 5.1 sound system is a SONY DAV-S300. The tv is an LG plasma RU-42PX10. The digital box is a SHAW DCT-6200/2000. If you want photos of the separate unit's outputs/inputs, just ask. Thanks.

Yes they do. I believe the photos show this. BTW, I tried all of the expected ins and outs and it still doesn't work.

The TV also has the usual red/white/yellow on the side. These are all I really need for playing DVD's, which I repeat, play just fine in 5.1 sound.
