No, it's nothing like that. I'm seeing jump cuts that skip about 5 seconds of the film each time. Hardly ever saw even a single jump cut on TCM until about 6 weeks ago. Very annoying. No problems with any other streaming service.

With 3 months to go in my 2nd year of subscription to the Criterion Channel, I have watched an even 100 films on the channel, including 40 foreign films. Between CC and Watch TCM, I'm in movie heaven!

Here's a photo I came across last week that shows Fonda in 1948, when he initiated the role on stage. The play ran for 1,157 performances. Not sure how many of those featured Fonda in the leading role, but his familiarity with the role no doubt helped him portray in the character in the film...

I picked up the three 1940s musicals for $21, especially since they are all 3-strip technicolor productions, and I am trying to watch as many of these as I can (I've seen 60 out of the total list of 547). Also My Gal Sal (another 3-strip), and The Tall Men.
