Ya he seemed like an experienced AV guy; however he wouldn't go any lower than $575 for the M&K sub and a Denon AVR 1713. I personally thought that was a little much.

Wow that must be a dope set up. Sounds like you know your stuff! So what would you guys suggest then if I am looking for something with a little better quality that sounds better at lower HZ. Anything higher grade that you can suggest for around $300 used that could go along nicely with a pair...

I would say I am looking for a little bit of both. However the room I'm working with is small-medium sized so I believe a sub with a little better quality rather than one that is extremely loud would be preferable. Do you have any thoughts on the Velodyne Impact 12?

Okay thank you. So if I could buy a good condition PL200 for $235 you think I should just but it and call it a day or should I wait and try and find a better deal/ do some more research
