ah....the western fan in me just loves "Mr Denton On Doomsday"...will add that one as a honorable mention...shoulda remembered this one in my list. Very nice little Serling tale.....terrific cast. Also revisited Maple Street....absolutely wonderful.
I never include Eye of the Beholder or The Invaders because they blow you away the first time and that is their Achilles Heel. The WOW factor tops all of the endings of my favorite ten listed on the first viewing but to me it makes them suffer more on secondary viewings. Even with To Serve Man...

I definitely prefer the crime dramas of season one and am hoping for a release of all the Jackson Gillis stories which to me COMBINED are the best episodes of TAOS.

All I can say is that the "Producers of Gunsmoke" did GOOD making this series and I can see why Whitman is so proud of his work....WELL DONE SIR. Glad I have the series in hand and no longer just hanging on "The Knife In The Darkness" episode on DVD being the "Jack The Ripper" fan that I am.
