Well, crud. I have the first three volumes, wasn't aware there was a Volume 4 of Sgt. Rock. Outrageous pricing for this one as well.

I was thinking more of Clay's role in Mackintosh & T.J. I agree Ron is the better actor, no doubt about that. Oh well, nice to discuss what-ifs, but the film is a fine one, just the way it is!

I received my copy yesterday as well, and like many others, I had to re-order this from Arrow since they cancelled my original pre-order. This movie is a favorite of mine, and I am so happy to replace the old Paramount DVD from 2001. This blu-ray was a long time coming and it looks great to me...

I went the Bullmoose path and paid $74.97 total. Looks like Movies Unlimited is the best deal right now.

Thanks for posting that review. I wanted to purchase this disc, as I have never seen this film, but I had concerns about this distributor and it looks like my concerns were valid. I'll pass on this one.

Yes, Kino announced this back in December. No release date given for this one. 2019 HD Master by Paramount Pictures – 4K Scan of 35mm Technicolor Successive Exposure Negative

Looks like a great upgrade from the Sony DVD collection released back in 2020. That older set didn’t include The Mark of the Whistler, which is standard definition in this new set. I wonder how good it will look.

This is great news! Another Mann film finally coming to blu-ray, long overdue. My preorder is on the way!

From what George Feltenstein said on The Extra's Podcast, this release has sold well, and while they may not be on the books for a 2024 release, sounds like they will be releasing more Tarzan. Great news for all of us!

Along with Lone Star, my top anticipated discs for 2024 are whatever the Warner Archive Collection has in store for us!
