If the original un altered versions of the SW Original Trilogy where released one day on blu-ray I would buy them and add them to my Blu-Ray collection.
The compiants about the end credits on the BTTF 1 blu-ray I can understand but I don't think it's a major issue at all and I don't think a studio like Universal would not re call a disc because of the end credits not being correct. But then again some people seem at times to complain about...
For me the films I'm looking forward to in 2013 are Iron Man 3 , Man Of Steel , G.I Joe 2 , Pacific Rim , Star Trek: Into Darkness , The Hunger Games: Catching Fire , and The Wolverine. Summer 2013 is going to be another great year for movies.
Even with this new deal I don't see the original versions of the star wars films coming out on blu-ray or any other format any time soon but things could change.
Great review Kevin EK of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial on Blu-Ray. Looking forward to the release of E.T. on Blu-Ray on October 9th, I already have it pre ordered on Amazon.com. Can't wait for it. One of my favorite films of all-time.
Great early review Robert of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial on Blu-Ray. Looking forward to the release of E.T. on Blu-Ray on October 9th, I already have it pre ordered on Amazon.com. Can't wait for it. One of my favorite films of all-time.
The Indiana Jones Films on HD Blu-Ray look and Sound amazing. The new 4K HD master of Radiers Of The Lost Ark and the 1st Indiana Jones films are just fantastic and the job that Ben Burtt and his team at Skywalker Sound did a amazing job restoring the original sound effects for Raiders Of The...
Paul_Scott fair enough but it is not as bad as you say it is. You sound like it really bothers you if it does fine but to me it does not. And the blu-ray's are not pathetic sir. The things you say about the transfer of Raiders does not make any sense what so ever. If you don't like it then fine...
I don't agree with anyone who does not like the new transfer of Raiders. Granted the color timing looks different but it's not all that bad as some clam it is. It's not a teal and orange push it's a warm color pallet. You expect too much perfection for this release you can't get older titles to...
I did not see the film until it came out on dvd in 2003 and I was born 2 years after Raiders came out in 1983 so I don't know what the film looked like color wise originally. And I don't agree it's not a teal and orange push as you clam it to be.
Paul_Scott once again your over re acting about the transfer of Raiders. It's a warm color pallet not a teal and orange push as you clam it is. Sorry I agree with what Douglas said. The DVD had crushed black levels on the transfer and not a lot of detail.
JoshZ those issues your talking about do bother me when it comes to transfers but it does not take me out of watching a film. If a director want's to change the look of a film I have no problem with it at all it's their choice to do so. I don't always agree with choices some directors do with...
