I totally agree! Jack Warden was great. I once ran into him in my neighborhood (NYC/Hell's Kitchen) hardware store, of all places, where he was visiting the owner.
I think your "public domain" question is a good one, Neil, and it certainly didn't seem to me that you were "upset." I think all fans of classic television are happy about the chance of a previously unavailable series being issued, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have a realistic discussion...
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a blu-ray release of M Squad. I say either get the current set or save your money for the upcoming complete Naked City set.
