it looks like your HDMI is not working or passing the signal. You only get a blank screen / without menus when there is no signal getting to the PJ.

your readings are only as good as your tool. My tool a Klein K10A @ $6900 is somewhat suspect for CR measurements. (although I do understand your concern relating to Sony projectors and image degradation.)

Good luck with that. AVS Sales, has the RS2000 in new sealed box with warranty for $5500. This is a killer deal. I have 1 RS4500 in sealed box for $12,700 (retail price $29,999). I also have new RS2100, RS3100 and RS4100 units.

The 10500 is a great projector with excellent black levels. It is gen 1 for HDR and doesnt have a huge amount of light out. It will do 3D. If it is on close out or discontinued pricing in the 1500-2500 range it would be a fantastic buy. Since the new epson laser projectors have been announced...
