I like Amazon Prime, personally.
Netflix pissed me off because they gave streaming free, along with disc rentals, to people that signed up (when I signed up). Then they took it away when they decided they could make more money. It should have been "Grandfathered" in, for the people that was...
In the past 10 yrs., we've been to the theater maybe 7 times. So, I voted 1% - 30%. I guess it's actually less than 1%......... We saw The Hobbit at the theater. Probably won't go again until the next Hobbit movie at Christmas.
Doesn't the receiver have optical or digital coax input for audio?
Use HDMI from cable/sat box to tv for video, and optical or digital coax from cable/sat box to receiver, for audio.
but I kinda do.
My wife bought me the 7" Kindle FireHD for Christmas, with Wi-Fi. We bought a Wi-Fi router from Sam's Club right after Christmas. I mainly got it so I could finally use my cell phone somewhere other than by the dining room window. We live in a basement apartment, and only place...
I'll probably spend more time on the photography forums, and wishing I was a better photographer. I'm sure I'll catch a movie or two also, from Netflix, while anxious about HTF getting back online. :) Good luck surviving the time off everyone! Eat well, and drink plenty of liquids...............
We bought ourselves this Cisco router for Christmas: http://www.amazon.com/E2500-Advanced-Simultaneous-Dual-Band-Wireless-N/dp/B004T9RR4A/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1361575431&sr=1-1&keywords=Cisco+2500 I had never setup a wireless network before. The instructions in the box walked me through...
You WANT to see the "fake, almost camcorder" look? Why? I don't understand. If so, you bought the wrong tv! The reason people buy DLP tvs is to get the more film-like picture, instead of the video camcorder picture you get from the other tvs. Just curious.........
I've said for years......... the best way to get the film look on a new tv, is to get a DLP set. To me (my personal opinion), you can't get rid of the video look on a plasma, LCD, or LED. People are willing to fore-go the better picture, for the "cool factor", of being able to hang the tv on the...
Surround speakers are the side speakers, in a 7.1 setup. The 6th and 7th speakers are labelled as "Surround Back" speakers in a 7.1 setup, when not using them for height etc....... The surrounds are the rears in a 5.1 setup.
Speakers are the most important part of your system. They should be the most expensive part too. Afterall, they are the sound. As long as you like their sound, no speakers are too expensive. Enjoy!
