I heard that Warner Archives released the 70´s series "Bronk" on DVD on June4th.
I don´t know this series.
Is it good?
Can you recommened a "blind-buy"?
Where can I order it because I can´t find it on amzon.com
I can´t order it with Warner Archive because they don´t ship to Europe.
I absolutely agree. Some announcements are just odd. There´re so many popular titles and they released titles that not many people will buy.
I´m desperately waiting for example for the Bronson movies "St.Ives" and "Telefon".
If the rights were with another company, it´d already be out on blu-ray.
Great film, an absolute classic in Europe. Saw it in 1981 when I was 11 years old in the theater. Belmondo´s best action film, great action scenes, great music.
Good entertaining movie but not as good as Belmondo´s "Le Professional". Belmondo´s English voice(he can´t speak English, his friend Delon is fluently in English) is strange. Henry Silva played the villain in that movie.
As usual Belmondo did all of his stunts by himself.
I´m not satisfied with the latest Warner Archive announcements. Nothing to buy for me. Who chooses the titles by Warner?
I can´t imagine that many people buy those blu-rays.
I wait for some Bronson, Eastwood or Burt Reynolds movies. Titles like "Best Friends", Stroker Ace, St. Ives, Telefon...
What are you talking about?
The only weakness that Reynolds had was that he made too many "silly movies" that didn´t allow him to show what a great actor he really was.
Reynolds was also a great leading man. The biggest movie star in Hollywood for 5 consecutive years. Nobody did that before or...
"Where were you when the lights went out": I once saw it on German TV and I thought the film was boring as hell. I still can remember the main song of the movie.
The set must have "compression issues". I mean 27 episodes on 4 discs.
That means 6 or 7 episodes per disc. That´s too much episodes per disc.
But I wait until I get the set.
