Blu-ray is the old version - only has DD 5.1. And boy, does it pale in comparison with the UHD. Not even close.

strange they included panic room since it got no recognition on blu-ray. would be very welcome though. my additional title would be "joan of arc" (luc besson) - columbia distributed the american version, so i guess that means sony ? the blu-ray was terrible; always thought it might look/sound...

never tire of watching this film. just watched the blu-ray on an OLED. this has taken it to the next level. WOW! if ever there was a film and a technology that were meant for each other. i can only imagine what 4K + HDR could bring - although 1080p feels more than adequate if i'm honest.

yes, i have the choice to not buy this film. i do understand that. and trust me, i won't be. although we all have to live with the reality that we have to pay this kind of money for a 10+ year old transfer for some of these films, i don't think it's unreasonable to expect a technical competent...

and a VERY overrated DVD, judging by the reviews on DVD Basen. i have the DVD and it's abysmal. and that's the most positive thing i can say about it. must be sourced from laserdisc. maybe one that's been dropped on the floor a few times. i would certainly support a release of this film...

it's been what, 15 years since the last release on home video ? and here we are, with the new release, and ... it isn't any good. brilliant ! damn you universal and your mediocre releases ! i have a 1080 rip which originates from an HDTV broadcast, and frankly it doesn't look any different...
