Figured someone would know the answer to this.
My brother got an Xbox 360 last night. Due to buying 2 games, a controller, and recharge pack, money is a little tight so no extra for a wireless adapter.
We live together and he uses the internet on his computer in his room through my wireless router, which is in my room, 1 wall away.
Might be a silly question, but is it possible to use his PC, connecting the Xbox through his unused Ethernet Plug on his computer to the Xbox's ethernet jack. to have his PC share an internet connection with the 360?
I know computers can share internet connections, kind of making them a poorman's router, but since his computer is not connected directly and gets its internet signal through a WIRELESS Network Card, I wasn't sure this option would work.
But it never hurts to ask!
