monsters for 360?

just wondering if anyone on this board has got the Monster components for the 360 and if there's a difference. the HD-DVD drive is coming soon and i don't know if i should spring for the monsters... also please tell me what kind of tv you got...

thank you!

ps. is HDMI for the 360 just a pipedream? yeah MS keeps saying that they won't do it, and i don't think they'd lie about it, doing HDMI would steal alot of PS3 thunder...

"now, if that's a fact, tell me... am i lying?"

Re: monsters for 360?

They had the monster components at wal mart on clearance for 25.00 So i picked them up.

The difference between the monster and the microsoft ones........ ahhh.
on my 32" bravia LCD i can really see no difference. Im running at 720p and they look pretty damn close.

Re: monsters for 360?

It may just be snake-oil but I think the Monster cables are a slight improvement over the original ones.

I think the image is a little smoother and more stable. But it could all be in my head.

I'm running the 360 at 1080i on a 50" Sony A200.
