How can I tell if an LCD display has 1080p native resolution?

See title question. For instance, does this Samsung http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1142298457279
have 1080p native resolution?

Here it is what Samsung.com says about the specs for unit mentioned above:

http://www.samsung.com/Products/TV/L...Specifications

Hmm, it does not say anthing about being a HD set at samsung.com web site; however, bestbuy.com says it is a HDTV unit. Isn't this confusing?

Also, from the description at samsung web site, it looks as if this type of unit required a "lamp" as the DLP sets. Isn't this a problem too if you have to change the lamp every two years or so? Isn't the lamp a bit expensive?

Thanks.

It is a 1080p monitor. It even says in the specs at Samsung.com under HDMI and Component.

The spec sheet (linked on the Samsung site at the top right) shows that this set has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080p. And as Seth noted, the specs also show that the set is capable of 1080p via Component or HDMI. This is indeed a True 1080p HDTV set.
