42H83 and ps2 help
hello everyone, i have a 42H83 widescreen hdtv and i have some video game problems. my xbox is fine and perfect, but i got a major problem with my ps2. when ever i play any 4:3 ps2 game, ff X-2 for example and have my tv in 4:3 mode, there is a slim vertical black bar on the left side of the screen, like its unused space or something. alot of my ps2 games have an option to move the screen around but i want a real fix. i tried my xbox in the same svideo slot, but the xbox used all of the screen.
i tested my sega saturn in the and it also leaves a slim vertical black bar on the left side of the screen with shining force 3 and magic knight ray earth. but some games like nights, panzer dragoon zwei and virtua fighter 2 used up all the screen, whats the deal?
i have also tested my gamecube, but it works just fine and takes up the howle screen. i though that maybe its was just the older systems like ps2 and down that didnt use up the whole screen but my sega saturn used the whole screen with select games. anyone else notice this?
could this be a problem with the tv? iv also hooked up my ps2 to a normal 27 inch tv and i couldnt see the unused part of the left side. please tell me im not the only one.
