Getting PS2 to pass DTS to receiver

I recently bought an Onkyo HTS660 for some relatives who will be using a PS2 as the DVD player, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to setup the PS2 so that it passes to DTS signal to the receiver.

I looked in the manual, and went into the audio setup to turn the optical output on, and the dolby digital output on, but I can't get the DTS output option to light up so that I can select it and change it from off to on. I tried entering the menu using while playing different DVDs, but have had no luck so far. (I even used a DVD with DTS - Pirates of the Caribbean.)

Am I missing something here?

I haven't used my PS2 as a DVD player in a long, long time but I do remember that there is an additional audio menu on the PS2 when you insert a DVD...give that a try.
