trouble with xbox live

When I connect to live using capcom vs snk it would cut me off everytime I would accept a challenge. My connection is good. I did connect one time out of probably 20 challenges. Is this common with live? this was my first try at it.

OK I went online this morning and no trouble. Tonight same as last night. Is this a problem during peak times? How often should I expect this?
