I don't believe this myself, but this site lists games release date and name "Sin City".

Take Two have never mentioned the new GTA title being "GTA 4".
high resolution ipod featuring dlp hd programming is the best, almost as good as playstation 2 with wega windows media on a super cd! ps2 and tivo do dolby tv with broadband hdtv!

ive also heard vegas or sin city. yahoo did a report of games of 2004 and mentioned it as sin city

Yes, but near the beginning of the year (2003), EB.com listed the release date for Halo2 as summer 2003. Unless you hear it from the developer, I wouldn't trust it.

The "Sin City" title was supposedly an April's Fools joke from Rockstar last year that worked too well. They have come out twice since and said straight up it was a joke and that this is NOT the next GTA game (as cool as it would be.) No one really knows what the next GTA incarnation will be yet, they are playing it close to the vest.
SF and Vegas would make for prime locations though...

Yeah, some places (like Game Informer) continue to call the next GTA "Sin City", even though that's not true.
The latest OPM says it might just be called GTA5.

Except it won't. So far Rockstar/Take Two haven't even called it GTA4 - it's "the next GTA title".
