Socom - PC USB Headset

Hi all, does anyone know if a PC USB headset will work with Socom on the PS2.

I heard you can use it for multiplayer, but not the single player game, where you can give commands. I really only want it for the multplayer anyway, can anyone comfirm this?

According to the questions I've been asking Konami tech support about karaoke revolution, the games may be looking for a particular device, and not just a digital audio signal.

Thanks Jeff... I'll just get the Sony Socom headset they are going to release when Socom 2 comes out.
