I have been looking forward to this night... ummm... basically since Season 4 ended - have you been watching from the beginning? It's one of my favorites and it's been getting great buzz. Just many of the positive reviews I've come across (warning- a tad spoilerish):

Tonight just can't come fast enough... !

Really looking forward to its return. The reviews have been great, saying the changes have revitalized the show.

When Season 1 originally aired, I thought I would be too squeamish for the show. But after all the great reviews, I caught up with Season 1 on DVD and have watched as it airs from Season 2. Great stuff. When I've told my co-workers about some of the plotlines, they can't believe I watch this weirdo-sounding show.

Bradley Cooper was killing me. Fun stuff in the premiere. Plus, who knew Sean had a good jump shot? Though I can't imagine surgeons playing basketball since it's pretty easy to jam your fingers while playing basketball. The upcoming sneak peak looks like a gas.

Re: Nip/Tuck season 5 premiere 10/30/07

I loved the thinly veiled self parody theme of tonight's episode. Looks like Christian is jealous of Sean's new found celebrity. So far, so good.

Six worlds prayed to her, they built her temples, conquered planets, and yet one day she still rode off and destroyed all six worlds. And when the last warrior was dying he said "We gave you everything, why did you destroy us?" and she looked down upon him and she whispered, "Because I can".

I loved the fresh start. The show needed it as I was ready to dump the show after last season.

Yes same here. This is a show that needed a reboot, and this might be just it.

Re: Nip/Tuck season 5 premiere 10/30/07

I agree. The season premiere was fresh and light and funny. It was good to see Sean on top for a change. And although I'm looking forward to getting Julia, Matt and Kimber back in town, I'm loving the guest stars. Oliver Platt in particular is just too good....
Excited to see what's in store for tomorrow!
