He had a bit of an accent when speaking afterwards, too. It was very Costner-In-Robin-Hood. Goofy!

I don't think it was the audition process with insturments, I think they are going to be allowed to use them in the Hollywood herd-thining stages.

I actually thought he had a bit of Ewin McGregor in Moulin Rough quality to his voice...just a bit, I like Ewin's singing in that movie lol.

It didn't sound to me like the kid HAD to be homeless, he WANTED to be homeless. Why didn't he just go home? His family didn't kick him out.

Re: American Idol - Season 7
Good episode tonight. Amy Davis was hot. Every girl should have a little Japanese in her. Ashley Lawing wasn't very good, but I liked her attitude. Cardin Lee McKinnley wasn't that good, either, but also hot and she had potential. The Alesha Stelzl segment was just great, though. Best viewing moment of the entire audition round.

Re: American Idol - Season 7
So much for the auditions, now let's get down to business and start handing out walking papers to people en mass.
I made a decision for next years audition rounds, i'm going to get one of those mini digital recorders like writers use and record a sample of Michelle Trachtenberg from Buffy screaming "Get out, get out, get out!!!" and just hold it up and play it back whenever someone comes on who sucks.
Fun show tonight, that one girl who told Simon he could keep her dog if he let her through was hotter than hell.
