Re: American Idol - Season 7
Next week, Ryan's going to hand all of the contestants a puppy and kick the one owned by the person going home.

Re: American Idol - Season 7
They need to go back to last year's IGB model, and just boot 2 people off the week after the IGB week. It leaves a really bad taste at the end of a week of "giving".

Re: American Idol - Season 7
On a more humorous note, did anyone else catch right after Ryan revealed the bottom three and said "one of them is going home tonight," Carly pointed to herself and mouthed "me!" just before they cut to commercial?
Maybe she's had enough of the music biz. . .

Re: American Idol - Season 7
I'm of the opinion that all these elimination scenarios are scripted by the powers that be (after the votes are in) in an attempt to keep things "fresh" after seven seasons. But it's a bit ironic that this time (among some others) they didn't get the definition of "fresh" that they were striving for.
Or maybe they did!

It's best to not be one of my favorites, because you'll be the "shocker" going home. (Michael, Latoya, Daughtry)
And I still miss Danny.

Re: American Idol - Season 7
Ahh boy. Mariah Carey this week and Andrew Lloyd Webber the next. At least I've got Neil Diamond to look forward to.

It'll take an Iron Maiden week to make up for this pap. . .

"Next week is death metal week, when all of our contestants will have to sing with a cookie monster voice. . . ." I'd pay to see that.

Re: American Idol - Season 7
I wish they would have done Neil Diamond week this week instead of in two weeks. I would rather hear 7 Neil Diamond songs instead of 7 Mariah songs. Then in two weeks I would only be tortured by 5 Mariah songs.

Re: American Idol - Season 7
When we will get a Weird Al week? I really think we need one of those.
Father: She didn't say, "I'm not in" She said, "We're not in" "We," you see, "we" Now what does "we" mean.
Bobby: I believe it's the plural form, indicating more than one. Do you want me to conjugate that for you, pop? Do you know what conjugate means, dad?
