Re: Survivor: Micronesia (Fans vs. Faves) Premieres 2/7/08
Amanda + bikini + sand = DEAR GOD
That could be a reality show in and of itself.
Tribal council was sweet.
"You're all gonna die...only question is when. This is as good a place to take your first step to heaven as any. It's ours. It ain't much, but it's ours. Only question is how you check out. Now, you want it on your feet, or on your knees beggin'? I ain't much for beggin'. Nobody ever gave me nothin'. So I say, fvck it, let's fight."

At this point I'm rooting for Erick or Amanda, the more likeable players out of the ones that are left, IMO.

Wow.
Just wow.
I loved that they showed all the votes being cast and all the jurors feeling the relief that they no longer are contenders for the "Dumbest Player Ever" title.

Re: Survivor: Micronesia (Fans vs. Faves) Premieres 2/7/08
I . . just. . . can't . . . believe . . it. He actually gave the necklace away. Eric has raised the bar on Survivor stupidity to an impossibly high level. Ozzie, Jason, and James are minor league next to him. From guaranteed final four to jury. Dang!
Once again I must stand in awe of Cerie's game play. She's a personal favorite of mine and has once again demonstrated her mastery of the personal game. She knows everyone's buttons and when to push them. The whole Eric plan was her idea and she knew it could work.
Amanda is now in a commanding position. I thought her doomed tonight. Suddenly she's not only one of the most popular survivors but also the most fit and very likely to win the final physical challenge and make the jury vote. Even if she loses she's tight with Parv and could force a tie breaker in the final tribal council. Bravo.

Re: Survivor: Micronesia (Fans vs. Faves) Premieres 2/7/08
Eric's going to go back home to scooping ice cream and getting beat up by guys, girls, and little kids on a regular basis. I'm also seeing wedgies in his future.
How freakin stupid was that???? So they don't like you, so what, you take your chances. That was, potentially, a million dollar mistake that he will never live down.
I know enough to know I don't know enough!

Re: Survivor: Micronesia (Fans vs. Faves) Premieres 2/7/08
That was indeed 'The ultimate Jedi mindtrick' as Cirie said it would be if they could pull it off.
My God!!!! How MONUMENTALLY STUPID AND NAIVE does one have to be to actually even consider giving the necklace away in the first place.....never mind actually giving away as he just did. It's really hard to fathom this totally moronic move.......just watching this act made me yell obscenities at the screen.
I'm glad that Eric got booted off......he clearly doesn't get the concept of Survivor. I'm surprised he lasted this long.
Excellent episode though......this season IS the best in my book no matter what happens on Sunday.
If I were Eric, I would skip all the interviews and the reunion show altogether........why go through the embarrassment of being a laughing stock. I'd probably leave town too and start fresh.

Well, that was one of the funniest tribal councils ever. Erik, Erik, Erik, that's not the way to make Survivor history, son.

Re: Survivor: Micronesia (Fans vs. Faves) Premieres 2/7/08
A-freakin'-mazing.
They pulled it off. Erik made it pretty clear, though, that he IS that stupid and naive. Wow. I really felt sorry for him though as the girls were rocking with their deception. But then, in the confessional, he still seemed so utterly clueless. For someone who seemed to be such a fan of the show (even winning the reward challenge based on that premise in tonight's episode) he sure doesn't seem to "get" what the show is about.
I could use some help figuring out why Amanda decided to "make nice" with Natalie. It seemed an unlikely alliance after the events of a show or two ago.
I can only imagine what Jeff Probst was thinking as it was all playing out. That sure will be the talk of the reunion show. They could give the reunion show an extra hour to cover all the fun stuff that happened this season!
Bring on Sunday night!
There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

I would have to guess that Amanda sees that she has a much better chance against Natalie than with Eric should she make it to the final tribal council. Also, it increases the chances of Natalie's vote going her way should Natalie be taken out next. She's playing a very smart game. If she makes it to the final TC, I think she could take it all this time.

Re: Survivor: Micronesia (Fans vs. Faves) Premieres 2/7/08
Thanks, Joseph. I guess that makes sense. I would have thought Natalie would have had big-time defenses up after the blindside of Alexis. But the all-girl clique seemed pretty real and sincere to me. I was scratching my head in wonder thinking that Natalie and Amanda would have had nothing to do with each other.
BTW, Amanda's already got MY vote!
