There's always the safety of the familiar. Was his commitment voluntary? If not, the choice of mental facility wouldn't be his. His money, if he still has it, would undoubtedly be under the protection of a guardian.

Well, it did seem to be moving all over the place...

Hurley stated in the last episode that since he would be assumed dead, his money would would be dispersed and he had no interest in getting it back. But yeah, you would assume the money would go to his mother and she would take care of him, but we don't know if she's even alive at that point in the future.

I keep waiting for them to get back to the numbers. They haven't been directly mentioned in quite a while, maybe since the Hurley lottery flashbacks?

Great ep. Glad the show is back.

I think Jacob lets whoever he wants see his cabin.

What is odd, is that Locke could not kill his dad, who really screwed him over, but can flat out kill Naomi.
|
Locke does things for (what he believes is) the greater good. killing Naomi 'saves the Losties' while killing his dad would be self-gratification of the dark-kind.

Re: Lost: Season Four
I don't think it'll have any deep meaning but Locke was one of the few characters that hadn't killed anyone.

I hope not. That was an interesting angle. They were never explained in any rational way either. But then, what is in this series?
Best,

Re: Lost: Season Four
I could be a million miles off but I think anyone looking for an explanation to the numbers (beyond fate) is going to dissapointed. It's the same thing as the flashback characters that have crossed between main characters' flashbacks. It just happened.
