Did Sawyer call Miles Donger?

That would be very disappointing. I think the last scenes of the series will be
Spoiler:
a reunion on the island.

Mike, they show the eps on the website, right?

You can catch up with it that way.

BrettB - yes, I laughed out loud at "Donger".

Watching Lost is like having a spouse. You love them. But, they frustrate you to no end. I really enjoy watching Lost. But, every week I hope they start to answer previous questions/mysteries. And they do to a point. But, then hit you with more questions/mysteries. One step forward...two steps back.

Bring back John Doe! Or at least resolve the cliff-hanger with a 2hr movie or as an extra on a dvd release.

Re: Lost: Season Four

I just remembered I wanted to look up that newspaper article that Jack had. I just found it at the Lostpedia at Image:Yankees Red Sox article.jpg - Lostpedia
In their discussion about the episode at
Something Nice Back Home - Lostpedia
the game is identified, but there is contradictory information as well.
Over at 4x10: Newspaper and Date - Sledgeweb's LOST ... STUFF
there is more discussion and some information about the"author" of the article - Gregg Bilson (much of that info is also on the Lostpedia page).

Didn't the producers already deny this?

Yes. Nothing more than a guess but I think we're going to see beyond that point by the end of this season.

Re: Lost: Season Four

I wonder if there is any special reason why Jack need his appendix removed, like Rose said, people don't get sick on the island, they get better.

I have seen Larry David in action, and that man is an animal, and he has to be stopped.

Re: Lost: Season Four

Do no one else notice that the Jack in the flash forward had no appendectomy scar? They seemed to go out of the way to show him shirtless in order to demonstrate it. It seems to point to some alternate reality, or else the island's power to heal scars.

Re: Lost: Season Four

Is anyone else irritated by the ridiculous over-acting of Jeremy Davies as Faraday? His over-the-top arm waving, exaggerated facial contortions and unconvincing speech patterns distract me every time he's on screen.

I've seen and enjoyed his work before (Private Ryan, Spanking the Monkey), but I just can't get past this.

And while I'm at it... here is, to me, the biggest mystery of "Lost": Why the freak is Farady still wearing his tie?
