Re: Lost: Season Four
Speaking of hair, anyone ever notice how incredibly bad past Jack's wigs are in his flashbacks? They're just awful.

I had thought that before as well, until I looked at a map and compared where the epicenter of the earthquake that started the tsunami was, and the affected regions of the tsunami, and then compared them to the south pacific region where the island supposedly lies.
They aren't even remotely close.

Re: Lost: Season Four
Hm. How specific has the show been regarding the whereabouts of the island?

Re: Lost: Season Four
Last night one of the "freighties" mentioned that they were somewhere off of Fiji if I remember correctly, it's weird really, the news report about finding the crash indicated it was between Cuba and South America.

"Six hours in, our radio went out; no one could see us. We turned back to land in Fiji. By the time we hit turbulence, we were a thousand miles off course. They're looking for us in the wrong place."
Also, if you're interested, take a listen to the official Lost Podcast for this week. Damon and Carlton are very explicit about the Lost universe' time travel rules. It puts to rest some debate that's been going on about the multiple timeframes that the story takes place in.

Re: Lost: Season Four
Anyone else think that it may be Michael that was their "friend" that opened the door?

I don't know, the freighties attitudes toward the losties indicate they wouldn't let another outsider just roam the boat and I cannot see how Michael could walk around undetected on a boat that small. Ben's man on the boat IMO would have to be part of their group. I agree that we'll see him again but I do not think it will be on the boat.
On that topic, was anyone else underwelmed by the size of said "freighter"? I was thinking all this time something much bigger.

Now that you mention it, Michael just might be "Ben's" man-on-the-boat. Harold Perrineau has been on the credits but still no Michael. I think we will learn soon one way or the other.
The most intriguing thing to me on this episode was the Hanso-Widmore-Black Rock auction scene. Mind-boggling.

I've been assuming that Michael is Ben's man on the boat. However, most of my assumptions/guesses end being a mile away from what actually happens so it's probably not Michael.
