agreed! Me and the wife were totally cracking up at these bits. Hurley is great.
(and my wife has Xanadu the film as a guilty pleasure and I know the girl playing the lead currently on B'way...)
I'd bet Hurley would know the lyrics to, "Suddenly, the wheels are in motion..."
Show is great, challenging and makes you not only think but RETHINK what you've previously thought and we love that. (LOST, that is, NOT Xanadu!)

Re: Lost: Season Four
I always like Desmond episodes so this one was enjoyable for me.
The auction that Penny's father won was for the journal of the Black Rock which is the slave ship that is in the middle of the island.

Re: Lost: Season Four
Trippy episode, for sure.
Ever since Desmond showed up in 1996 at Oxford, Faraday decided that Desmond would be his constant, as Penny was Desmond's constant. But Desmond had to first find his way to the island and go through all he's been through to get to the point on 12/24/04 to go back in time to meet Faraday in 1996, while also talking to 2004 Faraday when Desmond finally caught up to his future self (viewed from his 1996 self) from his 1996 self.
Anyone else experience a nosebleed while watcing this episode?

Damn. This is why I watch LOST. I love how the boat gives us almost nothing. Keep it coming...

Re: Lost: Season Four
Poor Minkowski and Eloise, for they perished because they had no constant. As far as Lost episodes go, I have to give this one the top two or three. Simply fantastic episode, yeah Patrick, I got nosebleeds and I think my head just exploded. Right now, I could use a "Lost For Dummies" book to make sense of all of this but i'm enjoying the trip, I didn't mean to smoke anything, really!

Re: Lost: Season Four
What an awesome season - another excellent episode tonight.
In an interview with Lindeloff over at Trek Movie he said tonight's episode was a tribute to the same style used for the series finale of Star Trek:Next Generation which had Picard jumping back and forth through time covering the seven seasons of the show.
Loved Desmond asking Dan about not using any shielding for his head.
And his phone call with Penny was pretty darn touching too!
Every man is my superior, in that I may learn from him.
