Well, at one point Kryptonsite was claiming that there would be new episodes tonight and next week, with the last four running during Feb. sweeps. They later changed the program dates on their spoiler page to "early 2008." We'll know for sure when a new episode is scheduled at least a week or so out, but I'm figuring they'll air at least some of the new shows during sweeps, which start on January 31st.

From the SFTV page http://www.sftv.org/sftv/sftvschd.txt
they have the new episodes starting on Jan 31.

Re: Smallville - Season 7 thread
What about the 17th. I know they have the 07 year, but that is probably a mistake. And they list the episode as 139 not 139R. I take it the R means a rerun.
Actually, looking further up the list I see that Wrath aired earlier in the season. Guess they just got the year wrong and left off the R.

Re: Smallville - Season 7 thread
I'm seeing conflicting info on what exactly the CW's gonna do with the final 6 Smallville episodes. The Futon Critic is showing all six episodes running in a row from Jan. 31st to March 6th.
the futon critic - the web's best primetime television resource
Of course, that list is subject to change.
KryptonSite: Your Source For "Smallville" News And Information is showing that they are only showing three episodes, saving a couple for late March, and the season finale as unscheduled.
I guess the only thing we can count on for sure right now, is that there will be new episodes on 1/31, 2/7 and 2/14, and even that could change.

Re: Smallville - Season 7 thread
^ I doubt CW has a nailed down schedule for the remaining episodes of the season. They need to keep it all in flux and as fluid as possible. What we do know is that tonight is a repeat (Lara) and next week is a repeat (Wrath). Supernatural's final new episode is on Feb. 21 (IIRC) and Reaper will move into the post-Smallville slot on the 28th.
I would highly doubt CW is going to stick the season finale out there in March or April by itself with no new episode preceeding it. You need momentum to end the season 1) early and 2) 7 episode short.

Re: Smallville - Season 7 thread
So still, the next new episode is NEXT WEEK, 1/31, correct.
Want to be sure not to miss one tonight, if this is wrong.

Re: Smallville - Season 7 thread
Tonight is a repeat of "Blue" with next week being a new episode called "Personae." Or, at least, that's what TiVO scheduling is telling me.

Re: Smallville - Season 7 thread
Shame on the CW. They had all of these free Thursdays to bring the show back. And they bring it back on the night Lost returns.
Bring back John Doe! Or at least resolve the cliff-hanger with a 2hr movie or as an extra on a dvd release.

Today is the first day of February sweeps. They owe it to their affiliates to put their best foot forward.
