Re: Smallville - Season 7 thread
Greg, I was just busting chops. I for one think Lana should have left for good. She does nothing for the show anymore.
Bring back John Doe! Or at least resolve the cliff-hanger with a 2hr movie or as an extra on a dvd release.

Was the clone actually alive, per say or was it brain dead? Brain dead looks the same in pieces as non-brain dead does. It's also possible that superpowered clone broke out of dam, killed real Lana, threw real Lana in the truck to be exploded and then dashed off to China. Although that begs the question of why and how superpowered clone has all of real Lana's memories and desires.

Re: Smallville - Season 7 thread
i dont know if i'll stay with it this season.
i may just fast forward through anyting this supergirl, kara is in.
i cant stand looking at her and she is a terrible actress.
her odd looking face is much too distracting.
i just hope she isnt featured to prominently i too many more eps.
also i dont see her as naive, she just seems dumb.

If we go back to the end of S6 (Prototype), Wes Keenan was a clone if I remember right. He had all the memories and emotions of the real thing with superpower...I think.

I seem to recall that pre-Crisis Supergirl wasn't particularly bothered by Green K.
Of course, exploding it with heat vision is just dumb; afterward, the same amount is still around, maybe including particles small enough to be inhaled.

Re: Smallville - Season 7 thread
I would have used super breath to blow the kryptonite away from Clark.

Or, if the cold breath was cold enough, that would work, too. We get the Kryptonite closer to absolute zero and the electrons from the Kryptonite's radiation would slow down enough to not effect Clark.
Yeah, I know - it's not THAT cold.

I don't think she knows how to do that, she couldn't even use her super hearing until Clark showed her how.
Yeah, this ep was mainly filler but I really enjoy the stuff with Clark and Kara and I also liked Clark and Lana (if that is indeed her, the original Lana I mean lol) actually having a conversation about his powers, that was refreshing.
I HATE the new editior for the Planet! What a smug little bastard he is. My guess is that he get's fired and they finally bring in Perry White, once again played by Michael McKean I hope.
I know this is going to come off a little more pessamistic than you guys are used to from me about this show but Clark DOES become Superman in this incarnation of the story doesn't he lol? With all these Kryptonians showing up i'm getting confused.

Re: Smallville - Season 7 thread
Well, I guess I fall somewhere in between or opposite of those not liking the episodes so far, especially those with Kara. It seems to have picked up the action and pace somewhat and I enjoy that more than the long drawn out angst type shows that were bordorline Dawson Creek in feel.
Anyway, I'll hang with it this year but I do hope Clark developes more into Superman and we get at least one season of him fully embracing his ultimate destiny.
