Interview with Martin Pasko of Batman: TAS

http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=128420
Quote:
[As] Word Balloon host John Siuntres wraps up his conversation with writer Martin Pasko...they focus on a behind the scenes look at Warner Brothers animation projects like Batman The Animated Series where Marty was employed as a story editor, and co-writing the animated film Batman Mask of The Phantasm.

Pasko also talks about working on the short-lived Justice League comic strip, and the Six Flags live action shows featuring DC characters.

Part 1 of the conversation is here, featuring a discussion of Marty's DC comic book work.

There is also a brief discussion of Rubik, the Amazing Cube!

I still stand by the fact that "Mask of the Phantasm" is by leaps and bounds the greatest of all the Batman movies. Yes, it's animated, but it effectively captures the real comic book, is both dark and keeps with the feeling of the books, and you care about every character.

There are very few scenes in any comic book movie as effective as Bruce Wayne in the cemetary in Mask of the Phantasm.
