Crumbs season 1

surprised no topic for this shoow yet.

maybe no one watched.

seemed like a take off of arrested developement to a degree.
wacky family that you dont know what will happen next.

crazy mother just got out of the looney bin, she having an affair with one of the orderlys who happens to be a black man.

the father pops up in the closet as he is hiding in the house.
and he is about to be a father with his girlfriend.

maybe typical sitcom brothers situation.
one brother is a womanizer and the other is gay.

and they own a restaurant.

i didnt think the first show was very good.
fred savage
jane curtain
william deane

The pilot felt like a potpourri of nuttiness without a lot of charm.

Now, if they could get Danica McKeller to show up as Fred Savage's character's beard, that would be funny.

I am concerned that the Jane Curtain character is a bit too crazy to be funny. She seems more dangerous than whacky and if this had any basis in reality, she would have not been released.

The other thing to note is how they seem to imply that it was ok for an employee of a mental hospital to sleep with a patient. I know he got fired, but they made it out as a bad thing he got fired.

Overall, I think I will give it one more week to make up my mind, but I am leaning to the give up side.

The only problem I have is if I dont watch this, all that is left is the Office and I can't stand that show.

It's supposed to be a fictionalized account of the creator's family life. The show gets a from me.

I quit watching during the first episode due to the g*d d**n laugh track. Also quit during first episode of Four Kings (or whatever the title).

And, I'm almost lost on 2 1/2 Men for the same reason--stupid artifical laugh tracks cued up after every single line spoken.

The shows aren't THAT funny! At least not every single sentence uttered by all the actors.

I didn't watch just based on the previews. I could just tell it was gonna be bad based on the "jokes" they showed in the preview. I give it 4 episodes.
