Las Vegas Season 3 premiere

Yep, this fluffy show about Las Vegas has made it to season 3, and Ed finds himself wondering what to do after season 2's finale which gives the show a chance to start fresh in a new casino/hotel.

I for one cannot WAIT.

They brushed off Danny's post war trauma and engagement to Mary so easily a year back- I'm sure season's 2 cliffhanger will be resolved in 30 minutes and it will be back to normal.

Hope Stallone is back!

Which was disspointing in regards to the former.

A Recap? Sure. There is a new hottie owner. Ed doesn't like her. Danny and Mike come back. Sam comes back. Mary is happy with her boyfriend. She won't come back. Delinda is mad at Ed. She won't come back. Nessa won't be back, she's with her dad and has a new secret identity.

New casino opens. Bad guys try to steal. They get caught. More bad guys try to rob. They get caught.

Bikini's . . .hotties . . . Danny without a shirt . . .

Usual stuff.

Perfect synopsis, Randy! But, "usual stuff" pretty much covers it.

But Mary used the line "he's working late" at least twice to explain her new boyfriend's absence. Could there be trouble brewing in paradise already?

Dunno, but Mary looked really skinny.

She probably read someone's comment in the season two thread about how she's getting chubby.

I liked the episode.
It's too bad Nessa won't be back...I liked her.
The scene when Sam and the new owner scrapping it out was good...especially when Danny walked up, saw them yapping and did an immediate about face.

"Oh Mikey do you think I even know what the hell they are talking about half the time? I dont know whether they are talking about how hard it is to be adopted or how their father never shows them love. All I do man, is I wrinkle my eyebrows, stare at their lips and somehow I turn out to be some big sweetie." - Trent Walker (Swingers - 1996)

She did didn't she? I almost didn't recognize Lara Flynn Boyle- she put on a little weight. She looked great.

And what in God's name was that thing on James Caan's face?

Also- Mike having to work valet at another hotel in a leprechaun get-up-

I still love this show.

Yeah, I was disappointed that Nessa won't be coming back. I really liked her character too. I think Mary is coming back as her boyfriend won't end up working out. I would like to see more of the lady cop that Danny was going after last season.

It is a fun show. The thing it has going for it is that you really care about the characters and the actors have great chemistry with each other. This always make would could be a really mediocre show into something that you have to watch.
