help identify anime series please
i've been jogging my memory of shows i watched as a kid. - battle of the planets, land of the lost, ark II, starblazers. i cannot, however, find one. it was an anime series probably shown in n. america in the mid-eighties. i remember a team of young fighters in space who fought atop open air flyers and used powered two-ended fighting staffs. i believe they would get to their personal vehicles from the main ship from tubes they would shoot through. starblazers is the closest show in memory i have found so far. anyone know what i'm talking about? thanks.
