The Simpsons 4/17

Add another great episode to the season.

Something wierd happened when I was watching it. When the middle commercial break was almost over, I remembered that I should record Arrested Development with Tivo. So, I took a look at its guide and navigated to Arrested Development by pushing the direction pad which makes the beeping sound. While I was doing this, I heard an echo of the beeping sound, which I thought was strange. I shut off the guide and saw that Bart was using a Tivo-like device!

By taking them out of the traditional setting the writers of "The Simpsons" finally were able to produce some fun laughs. One of the best episodes I've seen in a while.

I liked when Bart is consoling Milhouse and he says "Cheer up, Milhouse. You've got the rest of your life ahead of you." And Milhouse says "That's right!" and he starts sobbing

I wish they hadn't exhausted all the 'past' stories since I tend to enjoy those episodes more the ones set in the future.

I loved the Bender cameo. " You two are my new best friends!" and Homer knocks him off the car. I defintely wasn't expecting to see him.

My DVD Collection
I met him, fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blind, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the Devil's eyes! I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up for I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil! - Dr Sam Loomis(Halloween)

Damn you Mop N Glo! - Stewie (Family Guy)

That girl... has she been in any other Simpson's episodes... she looked familar. Too bad that couldn't bring back Lovejoy's daughter.

How many times have they gone to the future now?
