"For A Few Dollars More" On Encore NOT OAR
It's hard to take these premium services seriously, let alone subscribe to them, when they bungle their programming as badly as Encore has today. "For A Few Dollars More" is playing HD and FULL-FRAME. I can only assume ignorance or indifferance on the part of corporate employees. Do they imagine that, if we can afford HD systems, that we'll sit for anything other than OAR? Cinemax continues to drop the ball as well --- witness their full-frame broadcast last month of "A Star Is Born", and just last week, "The Searchers". Why pay high subscription rates for this sort of rubbish? Encore is touting James Bond later in January. I won't be surprised if every one is full-frame. These people just don't know their jobs, or don't care. Viewers need to make a loud noise about this.
