Thank you for correcting this Emmy oversight.

Just as Sex and the City claims it last nomination, it hands the torch to another show that can produce two or three female nominations every year just due to the sheer laziness of the voters. Let me spell it out for the nominating committee slowly - L-A-U-R-E-N G-R-A-H-A-M (G-I-L-M-O-R-E G-I-R-L-S). Is that so difficult?

No CSI, ER, The West Wing, Everybody Loves Raymond, or NYPD Blue nominations either. The nominating committee must think it's 2004 or something.

Finally, I really wish Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rescue Me or Gilmore Girls had snagged Sex and the City's best series nomination spot. At least we won't have to deal with that auto-nomination after this year.

Very happy to see the nip/tuck nominations. Especially Joely Richardson, who I feel plays Julia beautifully, with a lot of raw emotional display for the crises her charater goes through.

What time frame are these nominations covering? I'm confused about "24"'s nom and also Jennifer Garner's nom. The new seasons of 24 and Alias haven't even aired yet.

Good call on 24 and Alias! Maybe they know something we don't.

Well, this is from the Golden Globes and the Foreign Press Association. Why do people care about the GGs? It's just an excuse to throw a big party and invite celebs who work in TV/Film.

Spader is up for "Boston Legal", or did you mean another James?

I'm happy to see Denis Leary get the "Rescue Me" nom!

Poor Eva Langoria -- everyone else got a nom!
