Your thread title is a little misleading...I thought Tarantino was DIRECTING this...now THAT would have me interested!

Ditto on the Ashanti comment.

It'd be interesting enough to have an all-Muppet version of "The Wizard of Oz", but with Tarantino and Ashanti attached to the project, it'll be like a vacuum cleaner: it'll suck and blow at the same time.

They've established that humans play the leads in muppet movies now. Besides, who would play Dorothy? Janice? There aren't a lot of female muppets.

You've got Janice, Mrs. Piggy of the originals
Spamela Hamderson, of Muppets tonight.. uh.. You're right. I'm struggling. Lots of really non-human females (birds, honker creatures, etc.) but hmm.

It could have been worse. We could have had Hilary Duff playing Dorothy.

I'm guessing the thinking is, since Brandy worked so well for them with Cinderella, doing a similar thing with Ashanti might also work.

Queen Latifah could also be fun, tho...

Nothing like a few disembowlings and beheadals, not to mention foul-mouthed muppets, to shake up the ol' family tv.

I'd much rather have Duff. But Ashanti will make a great Dorothy.......for me to poop on
