Diane Lane at the Actors Studio, 2/8/04

I've been in love with Diane Lane for many years.

Her interview at the Actors Studio reinforced how lovely, intelligent and articulate she is.

We learned that her mother was a Playmate of the Month in 1957 "before nipples and before it became gynecological."

We learned that Diane, at age 7, toured western and eastern Europe with a theatrical group (without either parent), performing in classical Greek which Diane learned phonetically.

When asked if you ever get comfortable with nudity on the set, Diane answered, "If you do, you're in another profession."

Thank you, Bravo, for this hour.

I know I am far from alone in my admiration for Ms. Lane. I hope many of you were able to catch this program.

I didn't see that it was on until just before it ended, so all I caught was the brief discussion of "Under the Tuscan Sun". It's on again next weekend and I have the TiVo set to catch it.

Damn, did she look nice.

I fixed the image link. Just edit the post to find out how to do it.

She didn't talk about Ladies & Gentlemen th Fabulous Stains nor Streets of Fire, which is kind of why I watched.. Some of these shows need to be longer than an hour. I was dissapointed that Clint Eastwood din't talk about working on Rawhide, Where Eagles Dare, or Kelly's Heroes. I don't think he talked about High Plains Drifter either.
