Possible to get DirecTV HD programming through central dish?
I'm in an apartment complex where I get DirecTV through a big central dish. My balcony faces the wrong way for my own dish and I get pretty bad reception with an indoor antenna. Will a central dish be able to get HD programming without a specific attachment or is there some kind of upgrade required in order to get HD? I don't want to buy a receiver until I am sure I can use it. The cable company that handles the equipment isn't exactly customer oriented so I'm asking here before calling them. They only have an answering machine if nobody is there to answer the phone, which is most of time. Thanks
