The 2003 MTV Movie Awards

Well another year and another award show.
Couple of the highlights for me had to be Will Ferrel's architect, Gollum's acceptance speech (Peter Jackson is a HACK and MTV Sucks, we hates you all), the animation was kind of fun with the super hero motif. Ashton Kutchers expression when the Tatu dancers ripped their clothes off, Elijah Wood mouthing "that was fucking awesome" regarding Gollums acceptance speech, the Ass consultant for Charlies Angels. A couple of bright moments in an otherwise average MTV awards show.

Lowlights - Yoda (ugh) how embarrasing IMHO
- Eminem (Crank Yankers spoof acceptance)
- 50 Cent performance
- Harrison Ford - talk about looking uncomfortable
- Justin Timberlake
If you missed it I think MTV has plans to rerun it about 1000 times.

Thanks for the help. I did check it out online, but I might want to see the hotties. I can only take MTV nn doses though. It'll be on 24/7 this week.

Take care (and thanks),
Chuck

I only caught a bit of this last night. I did catch the Ass Consultant for Charlie's Angels and thought that was pretty funny.

I had to change the channel when this was on. Total garbage. Do people really buy these CDs?

Yes. Million and millions of them. It's good if you like rap, I guess.

I hope the Matrix parody winds up on the DVD ala the LOTR sketch from last year. I wouldn't mind seeing the "ass consultant" bit again either.

Gollum's acceptance speech was the funniest thing ever! Hopefully it'll be on the Two Towers Extended Edition....

50 Cent ISN'T rap. That ignorant fool is just a tool for the big record companies. Real rap is Jurassic 5 and some others. I love that silly story about how he got shot several times in the face. Riiiiiiiiight...
