Can anyone do me a favor re: DVD of A HIGH WIND IN JAMAICA broadcast...?
I don't even know if this sort of question is appropriate, but my dilemma is this: my Panasonic DMR-E20 has crapped out and I cannot afford a better machine right now. I will have to send this in for repair. Meanwhile, a movie I have been petitioning for for years is being shown only two more times in widescreen on the Fox Movie Channel, then future showings will (following their usual pattern) be pan and scan. I am wondering if someone could possibly get a DVD-R copy of this film either on 4/21 at noon EST, or on 4/22 at 2:00 a.m. EST? I would certainly replace the DVD, pay for postage and we could negotiate for your time...perhaps a commercial DVD? In any case, the 04/21 and 22 are coming right up, so if anyone would be willing to help me out, thanks!! I ask only that this copy be made from a great-quality satellite feed rather than cable.
