Re: Testy Area 51

I think the reason old films look better then new ones is because the old ones shot on sets and such, where as all the new ones are green screened and digital blah blah, which always look a bit off on SD, probably look way off on HD.

Yup! Christouuuu of the SS has spoken! SILENCE DROOGS! XD

I'm off to cut grass, have a triple S and then I'm out for the day, so I got no choice but to ignore testy for a bit!

Tomorrow I might go see Speed Racer in IMAX, it might be the first movie I've seen twice in the theaters in so many years I can't remember when the last time was.

We're watching a Bond film, Goldeneye. It used to be badly cut in the UK, headbutts, ear claps, some of the fight scenes etc, but recently released uncut with a 15 certificate.

"15 Certificate"?

Part of the UK rating system?

On the list of 20 Ugly people they list Linda Hunt as the voice of Edna in The Incredibles which is wrong as Brad Bird was the voice of Edna.

So....it looks like a lot of the creative forces behind Trek are leaving us of late. First it was Alexander Courage, then Joseph Pevney and now Robert Justman. It has really been one of those weeks.

SAd about the Star Trek stuff. I don't recognize any of the names... but still sad.

It's wierd that somethignas Brit as Bond got cut in the UK. WIERD!

Sooooo.... based on Liz's recommendation, I watched "The Machine Girl" this weekend. What should of been the greatest movie ever made, ended up being boring! BORING! HOW?!?!? Hot girls, machine gun arms, blood spritzing all over the palce... panty flashes... all added up to dull dull dull. So sad.
